Carli, the former ESPN host has SETTLED her lawsuit against the Nashville hotel at the center of her peep-hole scandal. A jury awarded Andrews 55 MILLION back in March, after she was filmed through her hotel room door PEEPHOLE by a stalker in 2008. The hotel was on the hook to pay 27 million of that. The private settlement came just hours before the parties were due in court to discuss further issues that COULD have resulted in the hotel forking out more money. More than 650 THOUSAND people have signed a petition to boycott TARGET over its transgender bathroom policy The conservative Christian group, American Family Association, is behind the effort. The protest is in response to Target_s new policy of allowing transgender persons to use the restroom that corresponds with their gender identity. The petition claims that the arrangement puts women and minors at risk of sexual predators, and suggests the use of unisex toilets as a common-sense solution.And, for the first time ever, Goldman Sachs is opening its doors to the average earner The investment giant has just launched an FDIC-insured online banking service called GS Bank. Accounts can be opened for a minimum deposit of 1 dollar and will offer an annual yield of 1 point zero five percent in interest. Enjoy the steamy summer weather while you can folks The latest Long Range Weather Forecast from The Old Farmer_s Almanac is out, and it_s calling for a long, bone-chilling winter It seems every part of the US will endure a different brand of unpleasantness. In the Northeast and Midwest, people can expect temperatures even colder than usual. The Pacific Northwest will be doused with plenty of rain and chilly. And in the Appalachian regions, where skiers actually look forward to the white stuff, weather_s expected to be a tad warmer and less snowy than normal. Scientists often dismiss the almanac_s predictions, but it was bang-on with last year_s winter forecast. You_ve been warned Do YOU live in a house with your parents or grandparents? If so you_re far from alone. Nearly one in five Americans - or 60 million people in the US - now live in multi-generational households It_s a record high according to the Pew Research Center. Since 1980, there_s been a steady rise in the numbers of young adults still living with older family members. For millennials aged 18 to 34, living with their parents became the MOST common living arrangement in 2014. It_s the first time that_s happened in 130 years Analysts attribute the changes to a decline in marriage and the lasting economic impact of the 2008 recession. And if you_re planning a fishing trip in Michigan you may want to reconsider The South American red-bellied pacus, or vegetarian piranha, have been spotted in Lake St. Clair and Port Huron. Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith signed a four-year, 57 MILLION DOLLAR deal This for a guy who_s made ZERO all-star teams and is arguably the team_s fifth or sixth best player The deal will see Smith rake in more than 15 million a season over the first three years, with 45 million guaranteed Now that Smith is on the books, the Cavs payroll has ballooned to a league-record 125 million dollars for next season.
